The ‘Movement-First’ Mental Health Revolution
“When thinking fails, movement heals - and I'll show you exactly how.”
Movement as Medicine
Activate your body’s built-in healing system TO IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.
WHY Movement as Medicine ?
“You can't think your way out of rock bottom, but you CAN move your way out.”
Tony Haresign shows men how to transform their lowest point into their launching pad using the M.A.P.S framework.
Tony didn't just study movement-first methodology - he lived it, developed it, and proved it works. From his own horrific sporting injury, to breakdown at 49 to becoming the architect of a systematic approach that has helped hundreds of men, Tony represents the evolution from personal transformation to professional expertise.
The Mountain Method with M.A.P.S
Every man has a mountain to climb - depression, grief, failure, identity crisis. The M.A.P.S framework gives you the navigation system to reach your summit. This isn't about crushing workouts - it's about discovering that Movement as Medicine can be your saviour.
The Science Behind the M.A.P.S Framework
Movement creates immediate neurochemical changes.
Endorphins, dopamine, serotonin - your body's natural antidepressants are released within minutes. The M.A.P.S framework ensures you're not just moving randomly, but strategically navigating your way out of darkness.
What is M.A.P.S?
MINDSET - Your Mental Navigation System
Shift from victim to climber. Transform "I'm broken" into "I'm rebuilding." Your mindset is your compass on this journey.
ACTIONS - Your Daily Route Markers
Focus on what you can do TODAY. Start with any movement - walking the dog counts. Build from where you are, not where you think you should be.
PEOPLE - Your Climbing Team
Who's got your back on this climb? Find your accountability partners. Address male isolation patterns through brotherhood connections.
SYSTEMS - Your Tracking and Accountability
Simple, sustainable tracking methods. Environmental design for success. Habit stacking with existing routines.

I looked down and my whole leg was black and swollen..
I took a deep breath, and looked at the clock…
15 seconds to go…
Behind on points I needed to score twice before the end of the bout to draw or win…
I could hear my coach in the distance shouting “Do it now! Now!”
I moved into position and looked at my opponent, a Black Belt 6th Dan…
Flicking my right leg up with lightning speed I telegraphed a head kick, and then everything changed.
My left knee felt as if I had been shot by a sniper, as I fell to the mat writhing around in pain.
The referee halted the bout and I was helped up, standing only on my right leg, as a medic came across and asked “Can you carry on?”
A quick glance at the clock showed 5 seconds. I nodded.
And like the scene in Karate Kid I hopped on one leg as the fight restarted.
But unlike the fairy-tale ending of the movie I didn’t manage a flamboyant ‘Crane Kick’.
No, I hopped around, avoiding my opponent, until the 5 seconds ran out…
When I awoke the next morning in excruciating pain, the events of the day before came flooding back…
I lifted the covers and looked down and my leg whole leg was black and swollen…
